The Russian billionaire, Mikhail Prokhorov, has denied that he bought the world's most expensive house, the Villa Leopolda in Villefranche-sur-Mer, on the Côte d'Azur for $730 million.

A farm house is for sale in Madliena, Malta in the Mediterranean Sea. The 250 year old house includes a swimming pool, indoor-outdoor dining area and a conservatory, and of course a view of the Mediterranean. Price is $1,855,000.

According to several news sources, the Villa Leopold, a home in the French Riviera called, which was built by King Leopold II of Belgium in 1902, sold for $750 million. It was reportedly sold to a Russian business tycoon.
