$10 Million Lingerie

Candice Swanepoel, an angel for Victoria's Secret, received the opportunity to wear lingerie worth $10 million. The 18 karat bra has 4,200 gems, including diamonds, sapphires, and rubies. The value of the bra is $8 million and the value of the gem encrusted belt is $2 million, for a total value of $10 million. Candice and the bra made their appearance at the 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show .

Pink Star Diamond Sold for $83,000,000

The Pink Star diamond is a 59.60 carat gem that measures 1.06 inches by 0.81 inches. It just sold for  $83,000,000 including buyer's commission. It was sold in a Sotheby's auction in Geneva, Switzerland to a New York diamond cutter. This is the highest price ever paid for a diamond, setting a world's record.

Nine topless Lamborghini Veneno Roadster's are being built and will offered at a reasonable $5.3 million . The car goes from zero to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds. It has 740 hp 6.5-liter V-12 engine. The weight of the car is kept light due to the extensive use of carbon fiber.

$920,000 for James Bond Submarine Car

The Lotus Esprit that Roger Moore and Barbara Bach rode in for the James Bond movie The Spy Who Loved Me recently sold for $920,167 at an auction in London, England. This is actually known as a submarine car. But the story behind the story is that the car was consigned by a couple that had originally bought the car at one of those storage auctions. And the price the couple paid? Less than $100.

Tennis Star Rafael Nadal is very particular about what he does and hat he wears. A watchmaker named Richard Mille developed a an extremely light, specially engineered watch for Nadal. The first watch he created sold for $525,000. The second watch, which Nadal now wears, was priced at $690,000, and he wears it for every tennis match. This watch is known as the RM027-01 . It is made of carbon composites and titanium, and weighs only 20 grams.

Mercedes Automobile Sells for a Record $29.6 Million

Who says the economy is in bad shape? Today, Juan Manuel Fangio's 1954 Grand Prix-winning Mercedes Benz W196 was auctioned off by Bonhams auction house. It set a world record for the highest priced car ever sold, at $29.6 million . World Record This was way above the estimate of $7.5 million. The buyer's name was not disclosed as he wishes to remain anonymous. (Could it be Jay Leno?) This beats the previous expensive car record when a Ferrari Testarossa prototype was hammered at $16 million a couple years ago. Great Mercedes Benz The automobile has fully-independent suspension and a fuel-injected 2.5-liter straight eight engine. It had been sitting in a warehouse for around 30 years , and has all its original parts.

Homesite for Sale with the Largest Private Dock on the West Coast

A Newport Beach Waterfront Residential Homesite with the largest private dock of its kind on the West Ghost, will be auctioned off on July 18 at 3pm. The auction will be held by Accelerated marketing Group . This parcel has two dividable lots for either one mansion or two 12,000 square foot homes, as the building size of 25,195 square feet. The property located at 2209 Bayside Dr., Corona Del Mar, California, was used during the 1920's and 1930's for the ferry from Newport to Balboa Island. Apple 1 to be Auctioned at Christie's Next Week - $300,000 Starting Bid

Next week is your chance to buy a rare item. The auction house, Christie's, will be auctioning one of the first Apple computers ever made, usually referred to as the Apple 1 . The starting bid will be $300,000, and the selling price is expected to be in excess of half a million dollars. Only 200 of these were ever made and about only 40 probably exist. The Apple 1 computer is consigned by a retired school psychologist. I guess he won't have to worry about his retirement finances.

$1 Million for a Lunch with Warren Buffett

The Warren Buffett Power Lunch Auction, which was held through eBay (EBAY), was completed last week. This was the auction to have lunch with Warren Buffett, head of Berkshire Hathaway (BRK-A) (BRK-B), along seven of the successful bidder's friends. The auction was to benefit the GLIDE Foundation in San Francisco, California. In case you missed it, the results are in. The lunch sold for $1,000,100.00, with 106 bids. Bidding started out at $25,000. Unfortunately, this lunch didn't pull in as much as last year, when the auction was hammered at $3,456,789. What is interesting is that there were the same number of bids last year as there were this year. As a matter of fact, the high bid this year didn't even come close to many of the previous years. In 2011, the Warren Buffett lunch went for $2,345,678, in 2010, the Buffett lunch sold for $2.6 million, and even in 2008, the lunch was auctioned off at $2 million. Would you pay $671,400 for a personal computer? You probably wouldn't want to pay even one hundredth of that, even for a top of the line computer with maximum RAM memory and hard drive space. Especially on that is out of date. Well guess what? An Apple I computer, also known as an Apple-1, just sold for $671,400 to an Asian collector through an auction held by a German company. This was one of the original computers sold by Steve Jobs and created by Steve Wozniak back in 1976. The original sales price for these computers was $666.66 and later on in 2007, the collectible price for these computers was $15,000 to $25,000. Not such a bad return, going from about $20,000 to over $670,000 in just six years. That's an 80% average annual return!!!

The Saco River Auction Co., in Beddeford, Maine, recently sold an 1865 photograph of the Brooklyn Atlantics baseball team for $92,000. It's the only card of its type known to exist. It was purchased by a Massachusetts collector.

$4.2 Million for the Original Batmobile

At a recent Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, the original Batmobile was sold for $4.2 million, plus another $420,000 in buyer's premiums. It was used in the original TV show from 1966 to 1968, has a V-8 engine, push-button transmission, car phone, and rear parachutes. It was purchased by a wealthy Arizona collector who is a big fan of Batman collectibles.

Dean's Blue Hole, the deepest saltwater hole in the world at 663 feet, is part of a property for sale for just $24 million. The property, Blue Hole Bay , is located in a remote part of the Bahamas.
