Tintin Drawing Sold for Over $1.5 Million at Auction

Tintin is a reporter who travels around the world, accompanied by his dog Snowy. The original artwork from Explorers on the Moon was sold at auction in Paris. The estimated sales price was expected to be between 700,000 euros and 900,000 euros. There was intensive bidding for the item, which was hammered at 1.5 million euros, about $1.64 million, a world's record for a comic strip .
