$57 Million for a Sculpture

A 5,000 year old Mesopotamian sculpture sold at auction for $57 million, breaking a world record for sculptures and a world record for antiquities. It was purchased by an anonymous British buyer. The sculpture, called the Guennol Lioness, is less than four inches high and features a lioness looking over her left shoulder.
