$2 Million Lunch with Warren Buffett
At a charity eBay auction, a Chinese investor paid $2,110,100 for a lunch with the famous American investor, Warren Buffett. This was the most expensive charity item that eBay has ever sold.The proceeds support the Glide Foundation, a California based charity which provides services to the poor and homeless in San Francisco. The winning bidder was Zhao Danyang, head of the Hong Kong-based Pureheart China Growth Investment Fund. The winning bidder is entitled to himself and up to seven friends dining with Buffett at Smith & Wollensky steakhouse restaurant in New York City, New York.
