George Soros Buys Stake in Alibaba


Billionaire George Soros has purchased a large stake in Alibaba.com, becoming one of the biggest shareholders in the company. After the announcement on Friday, the shares increased by 5.3%. Alibaba.com is the world's largest online business-to-business trading platform.
