43 Carat Diamond to be Auctioned
The Golden Eye, a huge 43.5 carat yellow diamond measuring about an inch long and almost 3/4 inches wide, will be auctioned off by Bid4Assets with a reserve price of $900,000. It had been confiscated by the Federal government in a sting operation involving money laundering in Ohio.
The auction will have bid increments of $110,000 and bidders are required to put up a deposit of $180,000. The auction that begins Sept. 6 and ends Sept. 8. More details about the auction can be found at Bid4Assets.
