Today, August 12, 2018, a major auction was held of Elvis Presley memorabilia at Graceland in Memphis Tennessee. The sale included everything from autographs, to records, to guns. Some of the most popular items were rings. As an example, an Elvis Presley Owned Large 14kt Yellow Gold and Blue Lapis Ring with Diamonds and Garnets had an estimate of $15,000 to $20,000, but ended up being hammered at $43,750 including buyers premium. A July 8, 1955, Publishing Agreement between Elvis Presley and Hill and Range Songs, Inc. signed by Elvis, Vernon Presley, Gladys Presley and Jean Aberbach sold for $37,500. A 1956 songwriters contract for the song "Love Me Tender" sold for $25,000. The highest priced item was a General Omar Bradley Owned 1942 Beretta Model M1934 9mm Corto Caliber Pistol (Known as .380 ACP in Modern Day) gifted to Elvis Presley on December 9, 1970. It was hammered at $51,250.
