A 1936 Bugatti 57SC Atlantic automobile was sold by the estate of Dr. Peter D. Williamson. The sale was made in a private transaction with the Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, California, reportedly for between $30 and $40 million, by far the most ever paid for an automobile.
