Ming Vase Sold for $1.38 Million

At the Freeman's auction house in Philadelphia, a 1736 Qianlong period Ming vase sold for $1.38 million, setting a world record. The last time a similar vase was sold was in 2008 by Sotheby's. It was hammered at $750,000.
